about

When my husband and I bought a cabin in the woods in 2012, we had no idea what we were in for – we have loved every minute of it!

From the gardening challenges – extreme shade, wildlife who eat my garden…deer, bunnies, squirrels…

To home maintenance we’d never given much thought to when we lived in the city – bugs, bugs and bugs, trees in storms, mice wreaking havoc on power tools in the barn…

To experiences which leave us breathless – seeing wildlife we’d never seen before as urbanites – fox, great blue heron, coopers hawks, barred owls…

My wish for this blog is to share some of these things with you. And who knows, maybe together we will learn a new gardening trick or two along the way, and get to share some of the wisdom that is there for the taking.

With great respect and love, I thank you for dropping by.

Thank you so much!! I am heading over to look at your blog now. I did get to read your post about your visit to NYC – great writing! I felt as if I was right there with you amongst the crowd trying to make my way through.

I'd Love to Hear from You!
