Today’s musings are based on the book, Meditations, by Marcus Aurelius. He was a 2nd century Roman Emperor and philosopher. I’ve posted on my readings from this book before (here, here, and here), but it has been quite a while. I’ve picked the book back up and am starting from the beginning again. I am reading Meditations by Marcus Aurelius (Roman Emperor, 2nd century) and this stood out (Book 3, In Carnuntum): “We should remember that even Nature’s inadvertence has its own charm, its own attractiveness.” Unsure of exactly what “inadvertence” meant, I looked it up.
