“the wall” – it’s coming along

April 30, 2019

So…you may’ve read a couple of my posts recently (one of them here) that refer to a retaining wall that we’ve been working on for several years now, off and on. We’ve worked on and completed so many other things while this wall was in progress. It wasn’t the most urgent thing, so it got attention in fits and starts. The man finished constructing it last year. On our project list for this year is to fill it in with soil and get some things planted there.

We had a bunch (3 yards!) of soil dropped off a couple weeks ago and yours truly has been working to fill it in. It’s getting there. I thought a lookback would be fun.

What the space looked like when we moved in, a bit of a mess…

If you are wondering, we did get all that junk out of the space before beginning to add all this soil.
