While I am whole-heartedly a summer person and hate to see it go each year, I do love the fall decorations. Such nice warm colors and all those textures! This week I’m digging the changes I’ve made around the house to celebrate the season. If you’re having trouble embracing the changing seasons (like I do!), hopefully this is some fall inspiration for you.
I’ve mixed in a few Halloween-specific things. Closer to Thanksgiving, I can put the Halloween things away and still have some nice fall decor in place for Thanksgiving. The little white pumpkins are real. They were “volunteers” in my garden this year. I just love them!
If you’re interested, here is last year’s fall decorating. You’ll see some of these same pieces there. I try to go through everything each year and pull some for donations, keeping the ones I really like. And I may pick up a couple new things. Gives it a fresh look each year.
