That’s my wish for all of us. Greetings and Happy New Year. Is your new year off to a good start? I’m spending some time this weekend enjoying a walk through the garden, and that almost always brings me peace and happiness. And since this is January, it also gets me fired up with ideas. Being the planner that I am, New Years Day is becoming my favorite holiday. I love using this time to think about the plans and dreams I have for the garden (and life in general) for the coming year.
And just taking time to deliberately set a good intention. We never know just how the year will unfold, as the past two years have shown without a doubt. I find it best to start off with the belief that the months to come will hold good things.
As I do every year, I have many plans for 2022 and most of all I intend for it to be happy. The garden will keep growing better and more fruitful and the property around us, more beautiful. Today, I am enjoying the winter landscape and appreciating the textures that are usually hidden amongst the vibrant colors of other seasons. Winter can be drab and dreary, but it’s also a good time to foster peace and happiness in our lives. A bit of a slowdown, some time to reflect and embrace the quiet and calm.
What are your intentions for the new year? I hope it brings you the very best.
Until next time, this is Angela signing off with a friendly reminder to get out there and play in the dirt.
